Celmec Heatray CS38 Umbrellas

The Harold Park Tramsheds, located near the inner-west suburb of Glebe, was one of Sydneyĺs lost treasures. At the turn of the century the Tramsheds were in disrepair and covered in graffiti. 2010 saw the Mirvac Group purchase the site and put forward plans for a radical face-lift and turn it into a European-style dining hall. In September 2016, the Tramsheds opened to the public, hosting 18 retailers, restaurants and markets.

Celmec International was involved in the refurbishment of the Tramsheds, supplying five custom black Heatray CS38 umbrellas to Butcher and the Farmer, a unique inner city food destination. These umbrellas were installed to provide protection for patrons from the afternoon sun as they dine outside.

Heatray umbrellas are purpose-built permanent structures. The standard model is engineered to withstand wind loads of up to 120km/h, with the option to upgrade to higher wind ratings. The umbrellas are available in a range of sizes and colours, and have a range of modular accessories, which can be customised to the specifications of each project.
